Friends it has been a long week. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday. It is amazing how God put this bible study together. We at Straighttalk have full time jobs beside the website. We have to balance our time with Family. I find it very interesting that ( Planet Fitness). A gym is making money off a picture of a ( Judgement Free- Kind of Love). ( Where Everyone feels accepted and respected).
A diverse, Judgement Free Zone where a lasting, active life style can be built. I have been to the gym and their all kinds of people there. Our prayer is all churches will become this picture because this the picture of Jesus Christ. A long time ago after finishing basic training and my ATI school. I came home looking for work. I couldn’t find work. I was trained in the Army to have a job skill to find a job. I didn’t find a job. I had several people ask me was I working anywhere. The people inside the building called the church ask me a lot. I know they looked down on me. People will speak before they think. ( Words do hurt).
The devil used the fact of being jobless to play mind games with me. I started partying wasn’t unemployed anymore. (1 Peter5:8) The fact the ( Body of Christ) never let me down. Jesus Christ was always there. ( Hebrews 13:8) The devil is full of lies that lead to death. Father God right now my prayer for everyone that is jobless you would show your Love and provide them with the job you have for them out there. Pray and ask this by the blood of Jesus Christ Amen.
Lets get started with the bible study.
1. Is God Love? Yes ( Jesus Christ is the Son of God) ( Romans 5:8)
2. Does God Love everyone? Yes ( John 3:16)
3. What does the name Jesus Christ mean? Jesus means “Saviour” and comes from the Hebrew name, Joshua ( “Jehovah is salvation”). Christ means “Anointed”; it is the Greek equivalent of Messiah.
4. Where was Jesus Christ from? Nazareth/ Jesus Christ left heaven to become a Godman without sin to live in Nazareth work as a carpenter. His own people looked at him as a commoner and no reason to commit themselves to Him! ( Mark 6:3-6)
5. Is Jesus Christ called a Great Physican? Yes ( Mark 2:16-17)
6. Was Jesus Christ a servant? Yes The book of Mark is about Jesus Christ being a servant. ( Mark 1:29-45).
7. ( Your question). Do you Love Jesus? This question lead to my salvation as a teenager. A simple question but a powerful question. ( John 15: 12-13).
I want to end the bible study by having you read ( Mark 5: 21-34) Jesus Christ isn’t Judgmental). You have Jairus a synagogue officer that was no doubt wealthy. A woman that was anonymous ( Nobody) suffering from incurable disease. The woman had this disease for ( Twelve years). Nothing but sorrow! She had faith Jesus would heal her. When she touched Jesus clothes she was healed of the affliction. Jesus made a point to let her know he cared about her. ( Mark 3:10) ( Mark 5:34
Jairus daughter brought him ( Twelve years of Happiness). Now she was dead. Jesus told him she was sleeping. ( Mark 5:42) Immediately the girl arose and walked.
Jesus treated Jairus and the woman the same.
I pray that now you will feel the Love of Jesus Christ. Christ will meet your needs. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
