Good morning Facebook Friends and members: Welcome you to the bible study called Welcome Holy Spirit. I have tried to make this easy to understand but the Holy Spirit is hard to grasp unless the Holy Spirit is in your heart. I have so many friends on my Facebook page. I am not here to preach to anyone. I am here to teach you about my life lessons. I am just a Christian man. I am a Nobody in this world. We are all Somebody to God the Father. That is the reason the Cross is my profile pic with the name Jesus on the Cross. God sent his Son Jesus to die on the cross for all our sins. Jesus Christ took God wrath for you and me. Let’s pray now.
Father we thank you for Jesus and for Jesus to do your will Father for your Son to die on the cross for all sin for everyone. Father I pray whoever reads this today will know God loves them and will learn about the real Jesus. We ask this in Jesus name Amen. Without the Holy Spirit being present in a message or bible study you would never learn anything. Let’s start the bible study.
1. What is the Holy Spirit? “But the ( Helper) , the Holy Spirit , Whom the Father will send in my name, ( He) will teach you all things , and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. ( John 14:26). ( Matthew 28:19) ( Matthew 3:16) (Acts 7:55)
2. Can a Christian have a beer or glass of wine? I went to see my doctor this past week . He ask me do I drink beer. You are a Baptist drinker. I said what did you say. Meaning you have a 6 pack a week. I like to drink beer with German food or Mexican food sometime. I use to keep beer at the house. I very seldom drink now. How many people can honestly drink one or two drinks and stop. Not to many. DWI drivers tell officers they only had two drinks. I got pulled over one night in Arkansas by a trooper. I had my uniform on just got pulled over me and my girl friend. I had been drinking pretty heavy. I just knew I was going to get a DWI that and go to jail. ( God Protection was over me). The trooper let me go. I have Christian Friends that have one of two drinks. The most important fact is never ever get behind the wheel after drinking it’s not worth it. Always tell your friends call me don’t drive home from the club , bar or restaurant. Never parents try to talk to the kids when they call for that ride home because they had to much to drink. The next day is when you talk to your kids. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit. ( Ephesians 5:18) The question is between you and the Holy Spirit. I knew a guy when I was partying had a half of a beer and got bad drunk that quick.
3. Does music affect a person mind or heart? Yes We have to renew our mind daily. ( Romans 12:2)
4. Does the tv shows you watch affect a person mind and heart? Yes We have to renew our mind daily again. ( Romans 12:2)
5. How many people are really Christians in the world? That is your question. ( 1 Thessalonians 5:5) Ye are all children of the light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6. Does the Holy Spirit lead you to salvation ? Yes ” However , when He the Spirit of truth has come , He will guide you into all truth ; but whatever He hears He will speak ; and He will tell you things to come. ( John16:13) ” All that the Father gives Me will come to me , and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. ( John 6: 37)
7. Does the Holy Spirit convict us Christians? Yes ” And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness and of judgement: ( John 16:8)
I hope you enjoyed the bible study. This is a tough one to write. There is so much to take in beyond my mind. Father I pray right now the Holy Spirit would meet my friends needs. This message would touch their hearts and lives. By the blood of Jesus Amen.
